In 2014 when Ebola broke out,GEJ chose Dr Faisal Shuaib (a medical personnel) from EOC to head the team to respond to the emergency.
It's 2026 and there's reportedly Ebola outbreak Tinubu is assigning Barrister Femi Gbaja to head the team to respond.
BUT GEJ WAS INCOMPETENT WHILE TINUBU IS A MASTER STRATEGIST
Somehow, I knew INEC wasn’t going to publish the voters’ register on its website, so I started raising the alarm even before the display began at the registration areas.
I followed up with multiple tweets and even emails to INEC. Crickets.
INEC is playing with fire. 🔥
Budget released to the ministry of health in 2026 -• N36million
Budget released to the Chief of staff for ‘Ebola’ -• N10bn
Lmaoo! May the lives of everyone supporting this government become the way they are running this country. Amen🙏🏽
Dictators will always insist that you follow the proper channels to remove them from power because they know they have captured those very channels. They are confident the system will protect them, not the people.
Let me tell you something, Nigerians.
We failed to sustain the pressure for @joashamupitan’s removal as @inecnigeria ’s chairman after questions were raised about his alleged APC affiliation and the tweets he reportedly made with Dayo Israel.
We tweeted, shouted for a bit. And then, as usual, we moved on and accepted it.
APC people know we don’t sustain pressure. They know we will make noise for a few days and eventually move on to the next issue.
They know we will shout about the voters’ register today and, in a few weeks, find something else to talk about.
They don’t take us seriously because they know they can simply wait us out.
And this is a VERY dangerous trend if we genuinely want to change the course of the 2027 elections.
The truth is that the odds are already stacked against us, and we cannot afford to pretend otherwise.
They have the INEC chairman, whose impartiality many of us are questioning.
This APC government appointed the RECs and INEC personnel whose neutrality and deployment are still under question.
They have governors across the country, many of whom belong to the ruling party.
They have Wike, whose own public statements about election politics have raised serious concerns among Nigerians.
And we have legitimate concerns about the independence of institutions such as the judiciary and the neutrality of the security agencies during elections.
So, what do WE have?
Our hope.
Our audacity.
Our determination.
And our stubborn faith that change is possible.
I am not trying to paint a grim picture or discourage anyone. Quite the opposite!
I want us to understand what we are up against so that we can be more strategic, more calculating, louder and more decisive in our actions.
We cannot afford to be slack.
We cannot afford to raise an issue today, trend for two days and abandon it tomorrow.
Whatever legitimate concerns we have about the electoral process, we must pursue them to the very end. We must insist on answers, demand accountability and refuse to let important issues disappear from public conversation.
AND THE VOTERS’ REGISTER IS ONE OF THOSE ISSUES WE MUST NOT LET GO!
This register is EXTREMELY IMPORTANT.
We need to know that it is accurate, transparent, accessible and compliant with the law. We must insist that INEC fulfils its legal obligations regarding its publication and availability.
If there are concerns about inflated figures, duplicate registrations or the disenfranchisement of eligible voters, those concerns must be investigated and addressed transparently.
We cannot afford to sleep on this matter. The integrity of the voters’ register is fundamental to the credibility of the election.
APC has had four years to build its political structures and sell its message. Na we just start serious campaigning now! 😂
Even if they don’t hold a single rally from now until the election, they already have the advantages of incumbency, established party structures and the visibility that comes with being in power.
We must therefore be creative, strategic and focused.
We cannot afford to approach the 2027 elections with the same nonchalance, inconsistency and lack of sustained pressure that have undermined previous efforts.
We cannot keep assuming that tweeting about a problem is the same as solving it.
We must be prepared to organise, monitor everything INEC does from now till results are announced, demand answers and sustain the pressure lawfully until we get results whenever necessary.
Because if we are serious about changing the outcome of the coming elections, we must also be serious about the work required to protect their credibility.
THIS TIME, WE CANNOT AFFORD TO SHOUT AND MOVE ON.
My baby sis was dying in my arms & I rushed her to LUTH.
They told me that I was late and I should come back the following week.
I rushed my baby to a private hospital and she was operated on within 30 minutes of arriving the hospital.
2027 election is actually WAR!
FORMER INEC ADHOC STAFF HAS A MESSAGE FOR NDC and PETER OBI.
“I want to point out some issues that occurred during the 2023 general election. Now the then Labour Party agent was not well equipped. When I say well equipped, the guy—at the time they were even mocking him, not even get money to chop, you know that kind of a thing—and was not looking like he had confidence in what he was doing, even though the NDC then won in our polling units. But the agent was not well equipped….
Secondly, the agent did not follow us to the council. We left from the polling unit to the council, and when we got to the council, all the agents were APC, PDP agents, and that was where the main deed took place…
So this time around, His Excellency, the team, please, the agents should go round, they should be well equipped, they should—like it should be a lecture for them, they should understand everything that goes on in election, just like the ad hoc staffs go for training. They should also go for training this time around, so that they will be able to protect our vote.
I want to vote, I want a better Nigeria. Thank you all.”
Joash Amupitan,
ARE YOU A THIEF?
ARE YOU A THIEF?
ARE YOU A THIEF?
If not, WHY ARE YOU HIDING THE @inecnigeria VOTERS REGISTER?
I ask you again, Joash Amupitan:
ARE YOU A THIEF?
.@inecnigeria,
Section 19 of the electoral act mandates that the voters' register be available for public scrutiny at least 90 days before the election.
You are currently in violation of that law.
When are you going to make the voters' register publicly available?
My friend's dad died and left ₦15 million in his bank account.
His dad had named his two elder brothers as his next of kin, but they were no longer alive.
My friend went to the bank with proof that he was his son, but they kept requesting one document after another.
At some point, he gave up because he had already spent ₦100k trying to recover the money, yet the bank was still frustrating him.
It's been five years now, and the ₦15 million is still with the bank while my friend is struggling financially to raise money to start a business.
What should he do to recover this money?
Keep Your Polling Units Clean , On Election Day Help Nigeria and INEC to Cut The Grasses in Your Polling Unit on Election Day to avoid Snake Bites, You know we have limited AntiVenom in Nigeria , We cannot Be losing Nigerians to Common Snakes 🐍.
Hi-Neck @inecnigeria is Brazenly committing a Crime against Nigerians and we all Must not be quiet❗️
@inecnigeria is doing everything to subvert the will of the People in 2027 and Nigerians must unite and Resist it❗️
@inecnigeria where is the Nigerian Voters Register?
#OccupyINEC ❗️🎤🇳🇬
INEC has failed to publish the register. It missed the 90 day window of which Nigerians are quiet and looking.
@NewsCentralTV invited Fmr INEC Commissioner Festus Okoye to ask him the way forward.
Hear him recommending prison time for those responsible for this breach. It’s a very big deal.
INEC can’t be trusted.
Bangladeshis, who are predominantly Muslims, are protesting against the barbaric act of Saudi Arabia, whereas some clowns in Nigeria supported the execution.
