On March 29 our MAER team worked with a badly entangled right whale in Cape Cod Bay and was able to remove 200 feet of rope, although the whale remains entangled.
The team is monitoring the weather and hopes for another chance to remove the rope wraps.

We have another new right whale - #12 for the season! Known mom "Infinity" and calf were sighted off Amelia Island, FL Sunday. Infinity is 19yo and this is her 1st calf!
