I see a wave of new Nigerians in the #nFT space and there seems to be a lot of hype about making fast money with NFT's, it doesn't work like that. a thread
It's very possible that the biggest mistake you can make in crypto is to focus on a target the chances of losing everything are bigger than hitting that target.
Stay away from leverage, stop buying shit, and stay away from drugs.
Both places have different strategies imo
Dubai has its own clear playbook position itself as a major destination hub and safe, opportunity base for a wide range of travelers, digital nomads, and ambitious talent. Scale, infrastructure, visas, and vibrancy are the focus. Dubai is innovation big, futuristic city.
Monaco, by contrast, is built for ultra-exclusive, high-touch luxury Grand Prix weekends, superyachts, privacy, and prestige. It’s short-stay glamour for the wealthiest, not mass appeal or long-term ecosystem building.
Different sizes, different audiences and entirely different strategies.
The $ZEC situation is really sad. Vulnerabilities like this cause serious reputational damage. The fact that the team couldn’t fully scope the issue or understand the blast radius isn’t a good look at all. It’s much bigger than just fixing the exploit in the next upgrade what if there are other vulnerabilities or even another backdoor?
If you take that risk and win, you're a genius; if you fail, you're everything bad. Once you realize this about life, you will take that risk irrespective.
@asemota Yup. If you win, even your worst & dumbest methods will become a case study to follow. If you don’t win, everything you did is a cautionary tale no matter how perfect & smart.
Okay if I was you,
- I will put some cash aside to trade.
- spend the few days looking at stocks people talk about here Expecially anything linked to NVIDIA or Google. Don’t watch more than 4 different companies at a time.
- watch out for patterns when markets open
- watch for pull backs and make a trade at a comfortable price.
- Buy when it’s red not when it’s green (I actually struggle with that advice btw)
- make sure your gains are more than your losses.
@DrHenryinvestor@EnjoymentMamaa Those are good stocks but tbh it’s up to you to decide. I own just $RKLB and I started buying almost 2 years ago. I should buy $ONDS at around 10-11 but if it doesn’t get there that’s fine.

You’re too young and in a good career to not take a little risk. Keep your ETFs, let it grow but place some bets on things you understand eg Biotech don’t play the AI game if you don’t know what’s happening.
Need honest investing advice from FT/X.
I’m 41.
Doctor.
Late investor.
Wife + 3 kids.
Current portfolio:
• £83696 core VWRP core
• £6270k growth ETFs (CNX1/SMGB/EXCS)
Total - £89966
• plan is to build the growth sleeve to £15k
• Planned £5k speculative sleeve for crypto etc
Total target: £100k
I have accumulated this capital - starting 2024 - using just ETFs
But lately I’ve been developing serious FOMO watching people make huge gains in single stocks.
Part of me wants to ditch the ETF strategy completely and go concentrated.
Another part says I should be protecting my base .
At this stage of life is capital accumulation not more important than taking risk finding the next 10x bagger ?
On the other hand with no bonds or gold some may even consider this portfolio too aggressive
Am I being too conservative for my age and situation?
Or is this just investor psychology?
What would you do in my position?
