A racist Black man gave an Asian woman a serious concussion by attacking her from behind and punching her in the head in Brooklyn. These violent racists keep attacking our women and elders. It’s sickening behavior from cowards.

This is Joonhee Han. He was a 19-year-old Korean boy who was beaten to death by a black man in broad daylight in Los Angeles.

Joonhee was simply walking in Koreatown when a black man approached him on a scooter and violently pushed him from behind. After Joonhee hit his head on the ground, the attacker kept punching Joonhee’s head against the pavement. A few days later, he was declared brain dead and passed away.

National news won’t cover this story because it was another black-on-Asian violent crime. There will be no protests, no outrage, no advocacy from Asian celebrities and activists for this young Korean man who was murdered because the race of the perpetrator poses a threat to their racial narratives. Cowards, utterly shameful.

Joonhee Han and his family deserve better. When will the black-on-Asian violence stop and when will we finally get accountability for it?

Apparently this is the Ecuadorian "asylum seeker" who was arrested this morning for the rape of a 13-year-old girl in Kissena Park in Queens on Thursday afternoon.

He will soon be "seeking asylum" on Rikers Island.

UPDATE ON SFFD FIREFIGHTER ATTACKED BY COLLEAGUE -- I reached out to Mayor London Breed and every member of the San Francisco Board of Supervisors for comment about the case of Gabriel Shin. The former San Francisco firefighter was attacked and seriously injured by another firefighter; the victim was forced out of the department, the attacker still works there.

No one would comment. Some staff members said they were checking and I never heard back. Others, including Mayor Breed's staff, never responded.

The only one I heard from directly was Board President and mayoral candidate Aaron Peskin. He texted, "It's not a legislative branch matter. ... Charter says legislative branch shall not interfere in personnel matters."
