This is the picture of the police criminal gang leader who intercepted me at Ajao junction on Wednesday morning being 22nd of April, 2026 while going to work at exactly 05:55am. I saw a colleague by name Comrade chinedu . As i cleared to pick him up, they double crossed me with korope bus without reg number. They forced my colleague out of my vehicle and forcefully collected my key from me and pushed me to the back seat and three of them jumped inside my vehicle all dressed in police uniform, well armed and one on mask. They drove off and turned under NAHCO bridge and headed towards Mile 2. On getting to Cele express, they cleared before the bridge and forced me to transfer the sum of 200k into a named first Bank acct and this transfer was made at gunpoint at exactly 6 29am.Immediately they confirmed the alert, they all jumped down from my vehicle and fled into their korope and zoomed off towards Mile 2. Attached below is the receipt of transaction and the picture of their leader. I reported the incident at the police station, showing them the picture of the gang's team lead but the Nigerian police force has not been forthcoming in their investigation.

Opay now upgraded to National Status by the CBN

What does it mean?

Opay can now open physical offices in each states across Nigeria and it confirms that, they now have the minimum requirements of 5 billion naira capital requirements set by the CBN.

You can now use them as Salary account and their statement of account will now be accepted for Travelling out of the country

BUT

They won't be receiving cash in their office like traditional banks and some other things traditional banks are know for.

They can't give out cheque.

There is still huge gap between them and commercial deposit money bank, which are traditional banks like the UBA, Acess, First bank, Zenith E.t.c

This upgrade did not happen for Opay alone.

Palmpay, KUDA, MONIEPOINT and some other Fintech Banks got upgraded too.

Our traditional banks go get serious problem this year with this Upgrade

Nigerian businesswoman Folorunso Alakija has built and donated a N34 billion medical research and training hospital to Osun State University.

The facility, named the Modupe and Folorunso Alakija Medical Research and Training Hospital, was commissioned today by former Vice President Osinbajo.

The hospital features 250 admission beds, 20 clinical departments, 5 non-clinical departments, a community health unit, maternity and neonatal medicare, research and diagnostics laboratories, four state-of-the-art operating theatres, cutting-edge diagnostic imaging (including CT scan,MRI, ultrasound and X-ray), radiotherapy suites, 16 ICUs, an ophthalmology unit and several other facilities aimed at enhancing healthcare-delivery research, among others.
