@FranklinDirty10@sensible_salad@da_muguruza Interesting conversation. All opinions which is to each their own. Attention and endorsement comment is where I digress slightly. Despite whatever earned/deserved is subjectively based on, objectively she’s selling tickets, merch, racking up views, etc.
@nick_ally1986@Dolemiterite If we’re talking facts. Eala reached R32 at her first Grand Slam after breaking into the Top 20. Rybakina reached R64 at her first Grand Slam after breaking into the Top 20. Look how far rybakina has come since then. Eala time will come just as rybakina did
@AnjCillado@endpaige Aces are nice and I agree I can’t wait for Alex to upgrade her serve. But she didn’t need it when she beat rybakina at Wimbledon this year
@RavinRay@barnabychuck Actually it was a response to many rybakina fans upset that Eala won star of the hard court swing or whatever that fan vote was and then shitted on her for losing to a rank 150 something. But logic doesn’t matter when you’re just trying spite people
@Rybamuse Like I said it happens. #1 losing to over #100 and #18 losing to #150something or whatever she was. I didn’t appreciate you calling us or Eala a joke. Regardless rybakina is still amazing and Eala’s future is bright.
@mahudelima@Rybamuse@GS1988853229652@WTA@MercedesBenz I’m sure it was because my whole point is giving athletes grace as they can have great and bad matches. Happy rybakina won US and is #1. Well deserved. Eala is still early in her tour experience. Her time will come. Rybakina first slam was 2 years after she hit top 20.
@Rybamuse@WTA@MercedesBenz Sorta like when rybakina was world no 12 and lost to Andreescu #121 2025 Rome R3? This stuff happens even to the current World #1. It’s tennis the journey has ups and downs. Rybakina did. Eala does too.
