The security man in our office didn't come to work today because his wife put to bed.
The tradition in our office is that whenever a staff member has a major celebration, like a wedding or child dedication, everyone contributes 20,000 towards a gift and support.
So HR said we shouldn't wait until the baby dedication since the man would really need the money now. The company would sort it out first and then deduct the ₦20,000 contribution from each of our salaries at the end of the month.
There are 11 of us in the office, so the plan was for everyone to contribute ₦20,000, making ₦220,000 in total. ₦20,000 would be used to buy diapers, while the remaining ₦200,000 would be transferred to his account.
Then a lady in Accounting said, "Why should we contribute ₦20,000 for a common gateman? He doesn't even earn up to that amount as salary. She has a lot of expenses this month. Let's just do ₦5,000 each."
The annoying part is that this same lady had an appendix operation not long ago, and nobody complained when the whole office contributed to support her.
Some people are naturally wicked.
Take a woman’s youth, what dose that mean ? Like her youth to hoe and around and hv multiple men In her bed. Then when she retires to settle down , she compares your performance to her ex in her youth and will still leave you..?!
Omo I still recommend taking her youth , atleast u took something.. if she takes the youth back then leave her and take another girls youth …
I no longer want to share my family matters in the online space anymore but I will say this for the last time.
My girl, was actively cooking and going to the gym until the day she delivered our son.
She didn't spend more than five minutes in the labor room, which was possible because she stayed fit throughout her pregnancy.
She stayed fit for 8 months, 3 weeks, and 6 days. She only missed the gym once, and that was when she put to bed.
I for say make I post video evidence but no need.

This story is actually insane and nobody is talking about it, and the key witness has apparently died in a hotel fire.
Prince Adeniyi Adeyemi accused Femi Gbajabiamila of collecting ₦400 million from him for a ₦600 million deal for the appointment to become DG of Presidential Foreign Intervention Promotion Council (PFIPC), the Chief of Staff was said to have demanded 48% of the agency’s ₦24 billion take-off grant.
Prince Adeyemi said 48% is too much. There was a little disagreement apparently, and on 11 June 2026, Gbajabiamila, in his capacity as Chief of Staff, issued a public statement saying the PFIPC was not an official government body.
Prince Adeyemi wrote a petition to the police and named the middleman who was the witness to everything that happened.
The middle man, who is the key witness to the transaction died a day after that petition.
Prince Adeyemi wrote for the investigation of the man’s mysterious death, and also claimed there are multiple assasinanation attempts on his life.
He also claimed his phone was particularly stolen in one of the attempts and they are refusing to help him track it.
Gbajabiamila claims the company does not exist and that Prince Adeyemi is telling lies, but the 2026 Appropriation Act currently contains a ₦1.3 billion budget allocation for the PFIPC on page 50 and 51.
So how did a “non-existent”agency receive a budget allocation?
The criminality happening under Tinubu is abysmal.
Why is this not making the news?
There's an ongoing blown out protest happening in Ogun State.
NUT, Ogun chapter have gained entrance into the Government House.
They are demanding the release of those kidnapped children in Oyo state.
Now we are talking. All states should follow.
It's 8:30 PM on a Wednesday. Tunde just walked into the house after spending two freaking hours in traffic on Third Mainland Bridge. He is exhausted, his shirt is soaked in sweat, and he just wants to drop his bag and drink some cold water.
Kemi is in the living room, fanning herself because there is no light. She looks at Tunde, then looks at his empty hands. He forgot to buy the petrol for the generator, which he promised he would pick up on his way home.
If Kemi was just angry or frustrated, she would complain. She might say, "Tunde, ah-ah! I reminded you about this fuel this morning. Now we have to sleep in this heat, and the food in the freezer will spoil. I am really upset." That is a normal complaint. It focuses on the mistake and how it affects her.
But contempt is different. Contempt doesn't attack the mistake... it attacks the person.
Instead of complaining, Kemi hisses loudly, rolls her eyes, and looks at him with pure disgust.
"You cannot even remember to buy ordinary fuel. Is it until I write it on your forehead? I don't even know why I expect anything from you. It's like living with another child. You are completely useless when it comes to taking simple responsibility."
Tunde freezes. He knows he messed up. He doesn't feel like a partner who made a mistake... he feels like a foolish schoolboy being scolded by his headmistress. His pride is crushed. Instead of going out to find fuel, he gets defensive, hisses back, and walks into the bedroom, slamming the door.
Contempt doesn't ruin a marriage in one day.
It is a slow leak. Day by day, insult by insult, it drains away all the love, respect, and friendship until there is nothing left.
