We saw yesterday’s news (https://t.co/evkKiKM5Zz👇) highlighting the alarming rise in mental health challenges among children and young people. With 1 in 5 young people affected, it’s clear schools need better support systems and comprehensive wellbeing programmes. ✅

We stand with experts calling for resilience-focused wellbeing programs in all schools - because prevention and support matter. At Adferiad, through Mental Health UK, our Your Resilience and Bloom programs already help young people help young people feel more confident, handle life’s ups and downs, and look after their mental health. 🙌

Based in Aberystwyth, Carmarthen, and Swansea, the Sanctuaries offer a safe space for local adults to access practical out-of-hours support tailored to their needs. Set in a welcoming and homely environment, the service helps to reduce harm to people in their homes and lessen hospital admissions due to mental health crises. 🫶

The UK has one of the largest gambling markets in the world, yet there’s still so much more to be done to address the root causes and implement stronger protective legislation.
Elissa, a former client of our Parkland Place Rehabilitation Centre, is a brilliant example of how individuals who receive support for gambling-related harms can regain control of their lives, and tackle the issues that led them to gamble excessively head-on 🙌
