It was 5 kinds of good to be joined by the community at Online PACTcon 2020, to reflect together on equity advancing values in action.
Thanks to @PACTtweets for having us (@Cole_Metis @BelladonnaNHP) AND Yvette Nolan! Humdinger of a day, I tells ya.
Would a database of self-identified BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, People of Colour) Canadian theatre artists be useful to you or your organization?

Thanks to all who've contributed to the ever-growing list of POC artists & cultural innovators. It demonstrates the continued resilience of those who have made & continue making an impact on the arts in Canada today.
So if you’re noticing that you’re missing that feeling of collective togetherness right now, ask who has been excluded from that in past? And don’t you want everyone to be able to experience the magic that you’re missing right now?
We can best prepare ourselves for meaningful action by staying informed. Perhaps it would be useful to hear from the negotiating teams about what is actually on the table.
(@PACTtweets@CAEA_Council: AD HOC would be happy to facilitate this if you’re game)
@AdHocAssembly Adjust online meeting styles to suit the needs of the group. I’ve seen neurodivergent fks meetings really benefit from active use of the chat. But that use of chat is going to be really terrible for anyone using screen readers. Be observant and adjust to what your people need
