NVQ qualified and HETAS & APICS approved Chimney Sweep working in Marlborough and surrounding areas including bird nest removals and bird guards fitted.
One dirty chimney swept today just outside #Marlborough. It’s first clean in 4 years. Chimneys should be swept at least once a year to keep them clean and in good working order 👍
One dirty chimney swept today. Three buckets full of tar removed caused by slumbering over night. This could have caused a chimney fire or a blockage which could have lead to carbon monoxide poisoning. Burn well seasoned logs at optimum temperature for best results @APICSweeps
APICS was formed in 2002 with the aim of providing a democratic association which listens to members but which also allows them to remain independent. The association has grown to a large body of loyal, professional sweeps nationwide.

This customer mentioned that smoke had come back into the room after they lit their fire. No wonder, the bottom of the flue was blocked. It’s so important to burn dry, well seasoned wood at a good temperature and to keep a well maintained and serviced stove. @APICSweeps

This is what is left of this makeshift chicken wire bird guard which allows the birds able to build a nest and rain to get into the chimney. Now replaced with a proper bird guard 👍
