It is important to have ATs around for all sporting events. children will have a better chance in preventing later injuries #ICAT9amweek8

[Kenneth O'Hara @Adigunko]

I would've had china stopped the fight as soon as the athlete showed signs of injury. Why risk further injury? #ICATinclass

[Kenneth O'Hara @Adigunko]

For a coach, or parent to say otherwise, should be irrelevant to the athletic trainers final decision. #ICAT9amweek6

[Kenneth O'Hara @Adigunko]

I don't feel that any non-medical personnel should have any say over an AT. AT's are professionals, with medical training. #ICAT9aweek6

[Kenneth O'Hara @Adigunko]

The choach, not knowing the Injury could put the athlete back to work, and risk another injury. #ICATinclass

[Kenneth O'Hara @Adigunko]

With the coaching staff being naive to the I juries, this could be harmful for the athlete. #ICATinclass

this leading to stress, that could bring an ACL tear. #ICAT9amweek5

Researchers found that females tend to land in a "locked knee" position after jumping. #ICAT9amweek5

[Kenneth O'Hara @Adigunko]

Knowing women have weaker ACL's coaches could do knee strengthening exercises before hand, to prevent later injuries. #ICATinclass

[Kenneth O'Hara @Adigunko]

It may be hard to prevent and ACL injury being that most injuries are unpredictable, but knowing women have weaker ACL, they could..

#3. The coach would have to deal with it. It is our job to prevent further injury on a player, otherwise the player may be hurt or even die.

[Kenneth O'Hara @Adigunko]

I would still work in my job setting, Traumatic injuries should be prevented and can be through prevention programs. #ICATinclass

[Kenneth O'Hara @Adigunko]

It is our job to inform our athlete of the repercussions of such injuries, and that there are proper ways to hit. #ICATinclass

Younger athletes won't want to sit down and listen to a boring presentation, a live demonstration could be beneficial to the athlete.

[Kenneth O'Hara @Adigunko]

The players are still going to hit just as hard, accidents will still happen. #ICATinclass
