Indians largely liked you. They admire intelligent, self-made individuals who speak with substance. For years, you came across as a brilliant mind. Lately, however, your arrogance has begun to overshadow your intellect, making you look increasingly foolish.

Your apparent lack of understanding of India, its people and the way the country functions suggests that you are remarkably poorly informed. You can certainly do better than Trump.

Bureaucratic delays deserve scrutiny. But suggesting that India is governed by oligarchs simply because Starlink faces regulatory hurdles is arrogance masquerading as an argument.

India is a sovereign democracy, not a market to be bullied into submission. You respected China’s rules; India deserves no less.

Ask your CIA friends. In 1998, India stood firm despite American sanctions following Pokhran. Those sanctions were eventually lifted. If geopolitical pressure couldn’t bend India’s strategic choices, a billionaire’s public tantrums certainly won’t.

Rahul Gandhi and his Congress party are mounting an attack on the very foundations of India’s vibrant democracy.

Calling a political march to the Supreme Court over a matter already before it is a disgraceful attempt to drag the judiciary into Congress’s street politics.

Have evidence? Present it in court. Challenge the process. Argue your case. What exactly is a crowd outside supposed to add to the merits?

The Supreme Court owes the country impartial justice. It owes the Gandhi family no audience, no endorsement and no political rescue.
