When elevated rights need to come down, an admin shouldn't have to walk over to the machine to do it.

@AdminByRequest 𝗪𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗼𝘄𝘀 𝘃𝟵.𝟬 allows an authorized portal user to terminate an ongoing Admin Session remotely, whether the work is done or IT is stepping in for a security or operational reason.

Because it reuses the existing end-of-session logic, termination applies immediately and force-closes elevated applications rather than leaving anything half-open.

You can restrict the action to specific portal roles, set an optional blackout period so the user can't re-elevate straight after, and review a full log of every termination, including who ended it.

A clever feature built into our newly launched 𝗪𝗲𝗯 𝗔𝗰𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 solution is 𝗔𝗜 𝗩𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗼𝗿 𝗔𝘂𝘁𝗼-𝗔𝗽𝗽𝗿𝗼𝘃𝗮𝗹.

Sometimes the trust decision isn’t about one specific application. It’s about the software publisher behind it.

With 𝗪𝗲𝗯 𝗔𝗰𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁, IT teams can use Vendor Scores from 0 to 100, based on factors including reputation, popularity and trends, to determine which publishers can have their applications approved automatically.

Set the threshold you’re comfortable with, and requests from qualifying vendors can be auto-approved in real time. App and vendor scoring can also be configured independently, giving you more flexibility over what you trust and why 🎚️

Across the Global Capability Centre (GCC), organizations are investing heavily in cybersecurity, but permanent local admin rights are still creating a major gap at the endpoint.

This 𝗕𝗹𝗼𝗴 looks at why Endpoint Privilege Management is becoming a bigger priority across the region, the risks that come with standing admin access, and how @AdminByRequest helps organizations apply least privilege without getting in the way of day to day work.

The blog also looks at how our partners, @AgileManagex Technologies supports organizations across the GCC as the exclusive distributor of ABR in their region 🌏

“We’ll take what we can”

Race recap from Circuit of The Americas, where a promising weekend ended just outside the points for @HulkHulkenberg. After showing solid pace throughout practice and narrowly missing out on Q3 in qualifying, Nico's race was compromised right at the start when a technical issue dropped him from P11 to P15, leaving the German with a difficult recovery ahead.

“Unfortunately, we lost some ground at the start when the car briefly went into anti-stall, which was a strange one because it happened a few metres after getting off the line rather than straight away. It felt and sounded a bit unusual, so we'll need to look into what happened and understand why,” said Nico Hulkenberg.

Despite the setback, Nico fought his way back through the field to finish P11, showing that the pace was there even after a difficult start 💪

“Our pace was pretty similar to the cars around us, particularly the Racing Bulls, but once you're behind, it's difficult to recover. It's hard to say what might have been possible with a normal start, but the midfield remains incredibly close. We'll take what we can from this weekend and head to Mexico for another go."

The good news? We won't have to wait long to see our favourite Formula 1 driver back in action! The Mexico City Grand Prix is already coming up this weekend 🇲🇽 🔥

Meet the newest addition to the @AdminByRequest platform: 𝗪𝗲𝗯 𝗔𝗰𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁.

It’s built to tackle a part of endpoint security that’s often overlooked: what users can access, download and bring onto their devices from the web.

𝗪𝗲𝗯 𝗔𝗰𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 gives IT teams control over browsers, websites and executable downloads, with policies enforced directly on the endpoint.

You can block unwanted sites, restrict browsers and versions, require approval or MFA for downloads, pre-approve trusted software, and scan files for malware before they’re released.

And because it works through the @AdminByRequest agent, that protection stays with the endpoint wherever it goes, without needing to add proxies, DNS filters, or other network infrastructure 🛜

𝗪𝗲𝗯 𝗔𝗰𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 is live now, and you can try it with our Free Plan linked below.

READY TO ROCK 🇺🇸🤠🔥

Update from Circuit of The Americas and the United States Grand Prix, where fine margins once again made all the difference in qualifying!

Our Admin By Request ambassador @HulkHulkenberg delivered a solid performance, comfortably advancing from Q1 to Q2 before narrowly missing out on Q3 by just a tenth of a second. The German will start Sunday's race from P11 – and remains optimistic 💪

“It was another very tight qualifying session. My first run in Q2 was pretty good, but we couldn't quite find that extra bit of lap time in the second run. In this midfield, those small margins make all the difference,” said Nico Hulkenberg.

“Still, starting from P11 tomorrow, we're in a decent position. It's going to be a long, physical race, especially with how bumpy this track is. The start and opening lap will be important, but I think we can race the cars around us and have a good fight. There's plenty to play for, so let's see what we can make of it,” the German adds.

Rock and roll, Nico! The 56-lap United States Grand Prix gets underway at 15:00 local time (GMT−5) 🇺🇸

HOWDY AUSTIN 🇺🇸🤠🎸

Yeehaw! @HulkHulkenberg and the Audi Revolut F1 Team are back in action for the United States Grand Prix at Circuit of The Americas! Following a successful points-scoring weekend in Singapore, our Admin By Request ambassador is ready for the opening round of the Americas triple-header, with Mexico and Brazil up next.

With the midfield battle as close as ever, the goal is to keep the momentum going and add more valuable championship points.

“Singapore was a great way to finish the triple-header, and it felt good to reward the team with some important points. We certainly enjoyed that one, but in Formula 1 you're only as good as your last session, so the focus is firmly on Austin now,” Nico Hulkenberg said.

The German Formula 1 star is looking forward to returning to COTA, a circuit famous for its challenging layout, exciting racing and passionate Texan fans. And this time, he'll be doing it in Audi colours!

"COTA is a great track to drive, with a good mix of fast corners, technical sections and some proper racing. The Texan fans always bring great energy too. We're heading into another busy three weeks, so it'll be good to get straight back into it. Hopefully we can put ourselves in a good position and give the team something more to celebrate."

Let's go, Nico! Qualifying starts Saturday, 24 October at 16:00 local time (GMT−5), while Sunday's 56-lap United States Grand Prix goes green at 15:00 🇺🇸🏎️

Still getting to know our newest product, 𝗪𝗲𝗯 𝗔𝗰𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁?

Our 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗼 𝗙𝗔𝗤 is a quick way to get up to speed 🏃🏿‍♂️‍➡️

It answers some of the questions we’re hearing around it, including what it does, why organizations need it, how it differs from a standard web filter, and who it’s designed for.

At its core, 𝗪𝗲𝗯 𝗔𝗰𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 gives IT and security teams more control over what users can browse and download, helping address the security gap around activity coming onto the endpoint from the internet.

And because WAM is a companion to Endpoint Privilege Management, it extends the controls already provided by @AdminByRequest to cover more of what happens on the endpoint.

Another awesome feature built into our 𝗪𝗲𝗯 𝗔𝗰𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 solution is 𝗔𝗜 𝗔𝗽𝗽 𝗔𝘂𝘁𝗼-𝗔𝗽𝗽𝗿𝗼𝘃𝗮𝗹.

Not every download request needs the same level of scrutiny. Some are for widely used, reputable applications that your team already knows and trusts.

With AI App Auto-Approval, 𝗪𝗲𝗯 𝗔𝗰𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 scores individual applications from 0 to 100 based on factors including popularity, reputation and trends 🤖

IT teams choose the minimum score they’re comfortable with, and applications that meet or exceed that threshold can be approved automatically in real time.

The threshold stays firmly in your hands. The AI simply helps routine requests move through without waiting for another manual approval.

Approval workflows are useful when you need control over executable downloads, but repeatedly approving the same trusted software can quickly become a drain on time ⌛

With 𝗪𝗲𝗯 𝗔𝗰𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁, you can set a threshold between 1 and 10 approvals. Once a download has been manually approved that many times, future requests for it can be approved automatically.

That means your trusted approval history builds over time, without having to anticipate every application that should be pre-approved from day one.

Three race weekends. Three talented young drivers. One shared ambition.

In this LinkedIn Article we conclude the first season of @AdminByRequest's 𝗦𝘂𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗘𝗺𝗲𝗿𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗧𝗮𝗹𝗲𝗻𝘁 motorsport series.

Over the past three episodes, we've followed the journeys of John Paul Southern Jr. Racing, Luca Magnussen and Marcus Terkildsen, sharing the stories behind the race results and highlighting what it really takes to build a career in motorsport.

The final episode headed to Spa-Francorchamps with Marcus Terkildsen. He took pole, lost the first race to a technical issue, picked up a puncture on that Sunday, then fought all the way back from the tail of the field to third. It's the kind of weekend that shows why we care about far more than who wins: how a driver responds when things fall apart tells you more than any result.

That's the whole idea behind 𝗦𝘂𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗘𝗺𝗲𝗿𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗧𝗮𝗹𝗲𝗻𝘁. We back ambitious young people long before the headlines and the championship trophies arrive.

The article below takes you behind the scenes of Marcus' weekend at Spa and includes the final episode of the series. We hope you enjoy watching and reading it as much as we've enjoyed bringing these stories to life.

“We got the most out of it”

Race recap from Barcelona, where our brand ambassador @KevinMagnussen and BMW M Team WRT secured another solid points finish in the FIA World Endurance Championship! The Dane and his teammates fought their way from P16 to P7, collecting valuable points for the Drivers' Championship 💪

Heavy rain made conditions extremely tricky, with incidents bringing out the Safety Car twice in the opening 30 minutes. But Kevin, who started the race, stayed out of trouble and steadily moved up the order as the track dried before handing over to his teammates. The BMW trio eventually reached P5 before the final round of pit stops saw them finish seventh.

“I think we got the most out of a pretty challenging weekend. After the change in weather and the heavy rain, we knew the start could be chaotic, but we managed to stay out of trouble, worked our way well through the field and were running in the top five at one point,” said Kevin Magnussen.

“Unfortunately, the final round of pit stops didn't work in our favour, but seventh place still gives us some good championship points. Now we're looking ahead to the finale, where hopefully we can finish the season on a high,” he added.

And there's more good news! The result moves Kevin up to P3 in the Drivers' World Championship standings alongside Raffaele Marciello, with just one round remaining 👊

Next stop: The season finale at Monza on 8 November 🇮🇹

The next feature to highlight in our newly launched 𝗪𝗲𝗯 𝗔𝗰𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 solution is 𝗘𝘅𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗥𝘂𝗹𝗲 𝗟𝗶𝘀𝘁𝘀.

Managing security rules is one thing, but being able to easily review, share and audit those rules is just as important.

With 𝗪𝗲𝗯 𝗔𝗰𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁, IT and security teams can export their pre-approved and blocked download rules directly from the portal in PDF, XLSX or CSV format.

That makes it easier to review current policies, share rule data with other teams, support audit and compliance activities, or work with the information outside the portal.

It’s a simple feature, but a useful one that will save you a lot of time doing tedious and repetitive work!
