@predatorapp I’m not defending the guy. He’s responsible for his own actions and should be judged for them. My point is that using “autistic” as an insult drags autistic people into it for no reason. Condemn him for what he did, not by turning a disability into an insult.

@DannyKHealion @predatorapp By that logic, any slur would be fine because people could just choose not to be offended. Most people know that’s not how language works. Words influence how people see others, and using “autistic” as an insult only reinforces negative stereotypes.
