Tucker Carlson: Congressman wants to make It illegal to call Gaza a genocide

The congressman is Mike Lawler of New York.
He looked at the camera and declared that “from the river to the sea” is not free speech.
It’s hate speech.
It cannot be tolerated anywhere in this country.

A little over a year later he co-sponsored a bill with a Democrat to write the IHRA definition of antisemitism into federal law.

Seven of the eleven examples in that definition are criticism of the Israeli government.
Under that standard, calling what is happening in Gaza a genocide would be illegal.

What if it meets the definition?
What if murdering 20,000 children can already be shown?
Would you still be forbidden to say it?

Lawler is not trying to ban criticism of every foreign country.
Russia is fine.
Iran is fine.
Israel is the one you are not allowed to criticize.

Same party that spent years screaming about cancel culture.
Same First Amendment they swore they were defending.
