(5/5) Unseen, effects are devastating. Hundreds of thousands of excess deaths have been linked to #Austerity. As people die, they don't count in poverty statistics. Injuries are hidden as people fade away. Poorest must be seen, heard, counted to capture full costs of permacrisis.

Support from third sector organisations was a vital lifeline but barriers to accessing support and services remained: digital/data poverty, lack of trust, rationing or finite nature of support, additional costs to access support (I.e. transport), stigma and shame.
