He was the Chief Minister of Sikkim for 24 years.

- In 2003, he announced the vision to make Sikkim 100% organic.
- Banned chemical fertilizers and pesticides.
- Over 75,000 hectares of agricultural land were converted to organic.
- Launched policies and support systems for farmers.
- Farmers were trained in simple, eco-friendly methods.
- It took a decade of consistent effort to achieve this.

In 2016, Sikkim became the first region in the World to adopt 100% organic farming. Today, you get healthier, chemical-free vegetables, fruits, grains, and spices.

Geeta and Rakesh, yes, both had come to the court to get married.

By chance, I met them. Both said, "Brother, please help us." The boy then went to get samosas and water.

I asked the girl what her name was, and she said, "Geeta."

I asked her, "The boy's name," and she said, "Rakesh. We both love each other very much. We can't live without each other. Our families won't agree, so we'll get married in court today, and after a few days, no one will be able to harm us."

I was happy to hear that love really is like this. Then I asked, "Do you know the boy well?" She said, "I only know Rakesh, and I trust him more than myself."

Using my lawyerly instinct, I said, "If I tell you one thing, you'll agree."

She said, "Tell me."

I said, "Just wait for two days. I'll find out all the details of his family, then come on Saturday. I'll arrange the marriage myself and get the administration to help you both so you don't face any problems later."

After thinking for a while, she said, "Okay, brother!"
Just then, the boy came with water, and I told him that the marriage wouldn't be possible today because all the employees were busy due to the elections (I lied). Both of you come on Saturday at 10 a.m. I'll arrange the marriage.

The girl said, "Yes, brother, in a hurry, I left my Aadhaar card at home today" (I made an excuse). Eventually, both of them went to their homes.

I had taken a photocopy of the boy's Aadhaar card from the girl, which had his full address on it. The next morning, when I reached his village and inquired, I was stunned. Rakesh's real name was Abdul Dar. He had been married two years ago and had an 8-month-old daughter. He has two cases pending against him, and he's a drug addict!

Well, today when both of them came and revealed all this to them, the boy initially flatly denied it, but when his wife and daughter were brought in, he became furious and went to hit his wife.

At that moment, I grabbed his hand, slapped him twice, and handed him over to the two home guards present.

Geeta felt as if the ground had slipped from under her feet; she was stunned, as if paralyzed.

I had told her mother everything in advance and had brought her along, but she had been secretly watching everything. Then I called her.

As soon as she saw them, Geeta hugged them and cried for half an hour. I gave them both a bottle of water, put them in an auto-rickshaw, and made her mother swear that she would not say a word to Geeta or tell her father about this. After sending them off, I am writing this post!!
