To them, both options are independent and have no relation to each other. They struggle with the "can't have both" part.

@RoboMc8 Secondly, in crimes where having large amounts of testosterone and upper body physical strength is needed, yes men will obviously outnumber women. But, what about crimes where such prerequisites are not necessary? Crimes that both men and women can equally commit.
