After the update, players reached out with some concerns that the poster art added into Christmas Week 1 was potentially AI generated. After some discussion we have agreed that these reports are credible and have removed the poster from sale. We aim to remove it from player accounts and refund them for those purchases before the end of Monday, when our data team is available. Any purchased posters will remain in your house/storage inventory until we refund them. Thank you to everyone who highlighted it to us!
We have a policy to not include AI generated artwork in our updates, please give us some time while we investigate how this happened. We'll share publicly when we have more information.
We're working on a few bug fixes right now! Thank you for all your reports π
π The Aztec Egg Claim button isn't working properly in the Taskboard
π Camera breaking during Bah, Humbug! minigame
π Map breaking after exiting Bah, Humbug! minigame
π The Storybook not scaling properly on mobile, hiding the Exit button
We're also looking at increasing the rewards from Bah, Humbug! minigame πͺ
@TheBlueAndPink@PlayAdoptMe Hey!
I'd be happy to take a look into your ban and the support process you've been through. Please send a DM over to me.
~ Steven, Head of Adopt Me Support
Thank you all for your feedback so far, please keep sharing it with us! We'll continue to use it to make our Support experience the best it can be! π§΅3/3
Support is changing! We know many of you have found it frustrating to understand and use the live chat, and having opening hours doesn't match our desire to be a truly global game. Live chat has now closed for good. π§΅1/3
Starting Monday, we'll be re-opening Support with a new version of our ticket system. Players will be able to send us report requests at a time that suits them, and we'll aim to reply within a week! π§΅2/3
Last week we improved our in-game report system, allowing you to potentially get pets & other items returned to your account after reporting a trade through your trade history! π§΅(1/6)
We're also using this time to assess the impact of the changes on our community as a whole, including the possibility of making returned pets tradeable again in the future. π§΅(5/6)
For anyone concerned about false reports against you, we don't ban a player without a human review of their activity, and any banned player has 30 days to appeal their ban and have their account re-investigated π§΅(4/4)
Weβve implemented a change to Trade Reporting within Adopt Me!
Starting today, you will now receive messages in-game when we've banned a player as a result of your trade report. π§΅(1/4)
Any items returned this way will be untradeable, to avoid players abusing this system, but this will give you a way to get lost items back without the need to talk to an Adopt Me Support agent. π§΅(3/4)
@TheAlex894 @JesseRaen @SaltyDiplomat If you don't and you feel the account has been falsely flagged, we are currently working on a solution that allows players to appeal these bans.
Thank you greatly for your patience!
@TheAlex894 @JesseRaen @SaltyDiplomat Best thing to check first would be if you, a friend or a family member has an account that has been banned in Adopt Me. If any of you do, please appeal it at https://t.co/VPS0EEs4l1
Additionally, we will never ask you for your username, password or any information that can be used to gain access to your account. Support doesn't need to sign into your account in order to assist you, and anyone claiming as such is attempting to hack your account.
As a reminder, our team will never contact you outside of our ticketing systems. Adopt Me Support doesn't have any accounts on other social media platforms, such as Discord servers, TikTok, etc. The only way to contact our Support team is through https://t.co/i1xMEn69np
