@Declan_2217 I think that’s just it. We all want him to take more time but i’m starting to just think they know the injuries won’t be resolved completely till the off season. Right now it’s all about adjustments and how he can get right even with the injury bug lingering. I’m hopeful🥲

The fact of the matter is we simply don't know if two more weeks of rest will even help whatever he's actually dealing with. It doesn't seem like it will, lol. Giving him time to work out what adjustments he has to make to play injured makes sense to me.

I truly admire shohei and I get his 2 way abilities is what makes him so special but it’s great to hear him say he’s going to focus more on the hitting side rn. honestly with the position of the team now, the bat is more valuable. Can’t wait to see him on the mound again one day!
