We’re taking on @WooCommerce's GH backlog. Over the next three months, we’re reviewing every open issue and PR there.
If you've filed an issue on WooCommerce Core: thank you, and you'll be hearing from us if it’s still open.
I wrote about it here: https://t.co/51AUUKSRlJ
@cagdasdagg I'd love to dig into what's missing for you. If you're up for a quick 1:1 call, I'd really appreciate it. My DMs are open whenever you're ready.
@cagdasdagg Tanks for the honest feedback, Çağdaş! I hear you on both the wait time and the dashboard gaps. We're actively working on making cases like this easier to resolve.
@cagdasdagg Really sorry the acquisition didn't go as expected. Buying into an extension is always a bit of an experiment, and the bumps often turn into the best lessons. Rooting for the next one!
@cagdasdagg Hey @cagdasdagg! Saw our support team got you the historical data. Quick note: this wasn't a WooCommerce Subscriptions issue. Apologies for any confusion there.
WooCommerce 10.9 includes two experimental Shopper Lists features for logged-in shoppers: Save for Later and Wishlists.
They’re opt-in, block-based, and ready for testing. 🧵
Reminder: Register for our live event happening next week.
We're bringing together experts from @Pressable, @automattic for Agencies, @SkyVerge, and @WooCommerce to talk about your AI workflows.

If you're interested in what's coming out of WooCommerce beyond just the core plugin, I'd recommend checking out our Product Updates feed. It covers all of our popular extensions, like AutomateWoo, Bookings, Subscriptions, MailPoet and more.

This is a really honest and balanced take from @rmelogli on the WooCommerce Marketplace.
It recognizes the value the Marketplace can provide, while also surfacing clear, constructive feedback on where we can do better.
Thanks for putting this together!

@stef12345xyz@rmelogli@KatieKeithBarn2 Zendesk is not required either. Support requests are routed to the developer's inbox.
Thanks for sharing your take on it. We clearly need to make our positioning and current state more obvious.
@stef12345xyz@rmelogli@KatieKeithBarn2 Hey, Stefan! Sounds like an early version of the Marketplace. Product descriptions are not locked, and prices can be changed, too. We just have some limitations in place to prevent abuse/pricing experiments that wouldn't be legally compliant in all the regions we're operating in.
@mryoubou We do plan to create new placements and put more focus on curation, quality, and trust signals, though. Better discovery is definitely one of the important pieces we need to improve.
Really appreciate everyone sharing their thoughts here. I’m following the comments and happy to answer questions where I can. Please keep the feedback coming. I’ll take what’s shared back to the team at Woo.
Lots to talk about, so I'm writing a post about the WooCommerce Marketplace.
In your experience, for a plugin developer who knows nothing about it, is it worth it?
@mryoubou That’s a fair read. New products don’t always get a lot of traction on https://t.co/i2yGADKmUx, and for early validation, https://t.co/Nba8JPG50u may often be a better place to build an initial user base.
@PoeHaH A lot of our audience is agencies/builders coming in with known solutions in mind, so improving discovery is definitely part of the work ahead.
@PoeHaH Thanks for expanding. I think that’s a fair read. For brand-new products, the Marketplace isn’t always the best place to start; https://t.co/Nba8JPG50u can be a better fit for early discovery and validation.
