I built Credo: a distraction-free Catholic prayer app for Liturgy of the Hours + Rosary.
No feed. Open → pray. Widgets + Dynamic Island rosary tracking.

What’s the #1 thing you want in a prayer app?
@Walkwithsaints Beautiful. St. Paul of the Cross used to say the Passion is the greatest and most overwhelming work of God's love. Tomorrow is his feast in the US.
@Catholic_bro Jogues was captured, tortured, escaped to France, and still chose to go back. That return trip says everything about his love for those people.
@Lex_Ludendi Beautiful collect. Asking that their blood strengthen our faith feels very fitting, since the faith in that land really did grow from their witness.
@fell_ogden35625 That line about not spoiling His work by our shortcomings is so freeing. Jogues wrote that after everything he suffered, and he still put all the weight on God, not himself.
@MonkRosaries Second of sixteen children, with ten lost in infancy. No wonder he understood suffering so deeply and pointed everyone to the Cross for comfort.
@CatholicArena Beautiful to see. There is something powerful about a whole city praying the Rosary out loud together in October. Our Lady of the Rosary, pray for Belfast.
@nikothevirgin Love this. Paul of the Cross said the Passion is the greatest and most overwhelming work of God's love. Nothing we carry is too small to bring there.
@frmarcellinus Great catch. Six times "my" and not one other person in his plans. The cure for that isolation seems to be gratitude, and sharing before the barns get bigger.
@TyAnthony454 Such a beautiful letter. He kept the Passion so close that he wanted his whole order to make a vow to spread its memory. Fitting reading for today.
@LRAnastasi That line hits hard when you remember he wrote it after captivity, and still chose to go back to the Mohawk mission. Faithfulness over results.
@jdmccafferty One of my favorite details about him: he wrote thousands of letters of spiritual direction, many to ordinary lay people. He really believed anyone could pray with the Passion.
@chicago_co37632 Amen. Jogues went back to the Mohawk mission knowing what waited for him there. That kind of courage is hard to even imagine. Pray for us, holy martyrs.
@WLSCFamily Love this. Paul of the Cross used to say the Passion is the greatest work of God's love, and he wanted people to keep it in their hearts every day, not just on Good Friday.
Today is the memorial of St. Paul of the Cross, founder of the Passionists. His brothers take an extra vow to keep the memory of Christ's Passion alive.
Not to stay sad, but to never forget how much we were loved.
When did the Cross last stop you in your tracks?
@spstreetevan Amen. St. Isaac Jogues could have stayed safe in France after his first captivity, with his mutilated hands, and he chose to go back. That kind of love for people who had hurt him is still hard to take in.
@RevFICO@followers@Highlights That image of fishing in an ocean of love is so St. Paul of the Cross. He was convinced the Passion was the surest way to know how much God loves us, not just how much Jesus suffered.
@PeterMcAnenly "Serve the Lord with gladness" is a lovely line to pray on his feast. St. Paul of the Cross spent his life on the Passion, and the Cross always ends up leading to joy.
@Abeljr31133812 That's the question. He had a plan for every grain and none for his soul. My honest test is what I would still have if everything I own disappeared tonight.
