This is Thomas Seyfried.
He’s a professor of biology, who’s studied cancer for 30+ years.
His message? Cancer isn’t bad genes or bad luck—it’s damaged mitochondria.
This flips everything you’ve been told about how to treat & prevent cancer: 🧵
Yknow you've become a fully fledged grumpy "get off my lawn" uncle when you're judgily looking out the window, getting angry at fireworks.
Flipping noisy. Shut up plz.
At a stage where my ego is checked, without a need for others having to be onboard my opinions.
You happy, I happy. I tell you the thing that make you happy = profit.
Advice that changed my interpersonal relationships (for the better):
It doesn't matter if I truly feel that way - if that's what people like hearing, that's exactly what I'm going to say.
This might seem counter to hustle or sigma male culture but I truly believe you don't have to fight for space.
Either you have it or you don't.
And if the latter, then create one where you can roam. You owe it to yourself.
For artists aversed to the spotlight:
1) Lowkey is the best key
2) Keep your cards close to your chest
3) The only threat or competition is who you were yesterday
4) Do the thing that is the most fun
5) If you feel compelled to fight for space, you haven't found your crowd.
For context
1) Planning a whole production work trip in New Caledonia next week for 10 days
2) Managing x3 accounts and settling finances
3) Writing an entire proposal pitch
4) gearing up for an album launch gig on Friday
5) fixing my bike
6) battling a respiratory infection
