A new chapter in maternal and adolescent health has begun in West Pokot through the Kaleidoscope Project. Working closely with the County Government and the Ministry of Health, the four-year initiative aims to strengthen maternal health systems, reduce maternal deaths, address teen pregnancies, and improve access to quality healthcare services for women and adolescent girls.
The project will leverage health system strengthening, community engagement, advocacy, and leadership support to create sustainable improvements in health outcomes across the county. Through collaborative efforts and local leadership support, Kaleidoscope is set to accelerate progress toward healthier families and stronger communities in West Pokot.

Today, ADS Nyanza partnered with the Green Anglican Movement to mark World Environment Day through impactful, localized action. Rooted in the ACK theme Wholesome Ecology and the global call Inspired by Nature. For Climate. For Our Future, we put our faith into motion. Our teams planted tree seedlings at Sinyolo Girls High School to build long-term climate resilience, while our dedicated students led a major cleanup and sweeping campaign at Sinyolo Market to promote environmental hygiene.
Through nature-based solutions, clean energy promotion, and mobilizing faith leaders for systemic climate action, we are proudly stepping up #NowForClimate. Caring for creation is our collective responsibility, and today's efforts in tree growing and community cleaning are vital steps toward restoring our ecosystems for a sustainable tomorrow.
