One thing confirmed after the Elvish Yadav Alleged Venom case: Indian mainstream media, like @ZeeNews, @Republic_Bharat, @aajtak, along with their editors and anchors, have been accused of promoting unfounded claims and spreading fake news without proper evidence, from Elvish's involvement (Aajtak news anchor) to party presence (Arnab) and the fake arrest story (ZeeNews Sudhir). It appears that their co-editors and the individuals responsible for preparing stories in the studio did not provide substantial information about the case. They should consider taking action, such as terminating the employment of those who provided inaccurate information, to prevent defamation and uphold journalistic integrity.

FIR under Sec 154 CrPC only means someone has registered a fact (as per him) against the suspect, and the investigating officer will try to collect evidence.
