According to the report, Susan Collins' office helped steer millions in defense contracts to Navatek, a Hawaii contractor whose CEO was illegally funneling money into her campaign. Some donations came within a day of the defense spending bill clearing a key Senate committee. The FBI wanted to open a sweeping bribery probe. Then Trump's administration dismantled the unit running it.
