..... because he has suffered the effects of those redundancies and more since. That he has done so well in his exams, considering Newsquest's slash and burn policy towards the Advertiser and the increased workload on staff, is all the more amazing. Well done Tom!

@Paulhume1gmail1 @eamonderry @TobyGranville This is one of the options our colleagues at @NUJofficial HQ will be looking in to. You would have to wonder what sort of loophole would allow this sort of behaviour to be legally sound.
