Shri Akal Takht Sahib sent the video for forensic examination to two laboratories. According to Jathedar Sahib, both reports found no signs of AI generation, fabrication, or tampering. The video showed Bhagwant Mann consuming alcohol and splashing liquor on photographs of the Sikh Gurus.

If the Chief Minister has lost the confidence of Shri Akal Takht Sahib, the highest temporal seat of the Sikhs, he has no moral authority to continue in office.

Bhagwant Mann must resign immediately.

Yashwant Sinha, Shatrughan Sinha, Kirti Azad, to Udit Raj, a good number of BJP leaders have not only left the party but also regularly abuse BJP-PM Modi.

And yet, you won’t find any senior BJP leader going personal against them. They have never abused them or tried to demean them. In fact, whenever they come across them, they speak politely.

Now compare this to the continuous personal attacks on Raghav Chadda by senior AAP leaders.

This is all about class and culture. BJP leaders are sane, mature, and experienced, whereas AAP is full of immature idiots.

This is not satyagraha, but PURE BLACKMAIL. That is an attempt to tell the judiciary: rule my way, or I will put your legitimacy on trial.

Arvind Kejriwal lost his recusal plea on law, and instead of challenging it in the proper appellate forum first, he has chosen to boycott the judge and try to perform martyrdom in public.

And look at the precedent he is trying to create. A judge attends a professional legal event organised by a body you dislike, and suddenly she must recuse. A judge’s children are empanelled as government panel counsel, and suddenly she must recuse. If that absurd standard is accepted, a huge part of the Indian judiciary would be disqualified from hearing any matter involving the government, which in criminal law is practically every second case.

That is why this Kejriwal move is so ludicrous. By his logic, next time any judge appears on a panel where the government is present, accepts an invitation to a legal forum, or has a relative with a government brief, that judge can be hounded out. It is a recipe for paralysing courts through manufactured suspicion - with a logic that turns every difficult case into a judge-shopping carnival.

That's why this stunt deserves to be trashed in the strongest terms.

If a litigant genuinely apprehends bias, raising that concern is not an attack on the judiciary but part of due process, so no "Contempt".

Secondly, he can't be forced to argue his case. He restrains, it's his 'Right to silence'.

What Arvind Kejriwal is effectively arguing is startling: If the judge is not acceptable to me, I will not participate.

A litigant cannot reserve for himself the right to choose the Bench, question integrity without proof, and then walk away when the court rejects those claims.

This reduces the justice system to a spectacle, where allegations are made freely, institutions are pressured publicly, and accountability is treated as optional.

The judiciary must draw a firm line. Not for one politician but to make it clear that courts cannot be browbeaten, selectively respected, or treated like forums of convenience.

So, this merger can't be recognised and hence, it increases only the number of litigation.

Balyan had filed bail plea in relation to a MCOCA case. The matter is now listed before another judge on April 23.

Correction:
1. @ArvindKejriwal is an applicant in recusal application, therefore, rejoinder.
2. Rejoinder is not allowed by the HC registry, because he is an applicant-in-person, with no filing ID.
3. Agree, rejoinder is not a right. But is allowed in usual course of pleading

न्याय और कानून केवल तथ्यों पर आधारित होते हैं, न कि राजनीतिक सुविधा पर। इस मामले में कोर्ट की प्रक्रिया को समझना बहुत जरूरी है:

पहली बात तो यह कि हाई कोर्ट के नियमों के अनुसार Rejoinder (प्रत्युत्तर) दाखिल करने का अधिकार सामान्यतः केवल Petitioner के पास होता है। वह भी हर मामले में नहीं, बल्कि सिर्फ तब जब जवाब में कोई ऐसे नए तथ्य आए हों जो याचिका का हिस्सा न रहे हों। इस मामले में केजरीवाल जी प्रतिवादी (Respondent) हैं, और कानूनन एक प्रतिवादी को रिज्वाइंडर दाखिल करने का कोई स्वतः अधिकार प्राप्त नहीं है। दूसरी और सबसे महत्वपूर्ण बात यह है कि जब अदालत किसी मामले को सुनवाई के बाद आदेश के लिए सुरक्षित (Reserved for Orders) रख लेती है, तो उसके बाद किसी भी प्रकार की नई दलील या दस्तावेज (Pleadings) पेश करने की अनुमति नहीं होती। इसके बावजूद, माननीय अदालत ने केजरीवाल जी को आदेश सुरक्षित होने के बाद भी Additional Affidavit दाखिल करने की विशेष रियायत दी। एक साधारण Litigant को शायद ही कभी ऐसी रियायत मिलती है। जब अदालत पहले ही उन्हें कानून के दायरे से बाहर जाकर इतनी छूट दे चुकी है, तो अब प्रक्रिया के विरुद्ध जाकर रिज्वाइंडर की मांग करना केवल कोर्ट पर अनुचित दबाव बनाने जैसा है। अदालत नियमों से बंधी है और वही नियम सबके लिए बराबर होने चाहिए।
