Today in #AE19, we looked at one of Walt Whitman's poems from Leaves of Grass for our #Final. He uses metaphors from nature to represent himself and also everyone else. One of these metaphors could be "formed from this soil." -GE, GH, AM

Today in #AE19 students held their last reading group meeting, concluding their #WR books of choice. Afterwards, they took an assessment on #WR and used their S-E-E skills. Lastly students had work time for the AE final. -IS
Today in #AE19, we had reading group meetings for our #WR books. After that, we had time to work on our AE Final projects and catch up on missing work. Then we did an cctivity involving Woman's Suffrage from the National Archives. -AM
Today in #AE19 we started our #WR19 unit. We did a Text-Context-Subtext activity on a women's right picture from the late 1910s. We ended the class by analyzing the Declaration of Sentiments. -AL
