I’m not gonna speak on the whole “men don’t marry women they don’t like” argument because I’ve worked with middle-aged white men in corporate America for several years now . 😭😭😭😭
Hey so this isn’t okay.
It’s tough enough for black artists in pop to get exposure but ripping down a poster I paid a lot of money and put 10 years of hard work convincing people I’m good enough for this marketing…is just quite mean and makes me pretty sad right now :( … especially because you’re ripping down a poster just to take a picture next to another poster?? atleast try and keep the poster?
Anyways… “I think I spoke too soon” out October 16th!

Jonathan Newell is having his first name and photos scrubbed from the internet share it widely. Winston Lee fled to Korea has been found there. His korean name is LEE JUN HYUNG 이준형. Hold them accountable. Pictured: JONATHAN NEWELL who sent the “free p*ssy” message
I might get killed for this, but Abbott Elementary, Superstore, My Wife and Kids, Fresh Prince, Brooklyn 99, Modern Family, The Office US and Kim’s Convenience are ALL better than Friends lol
I wish I were surprised by how many of us run whataboutism and derail conversations about liberation but it isn’t new. It’s a continuity. Our movements have been broken from within as often as from without: Sankara betrayed and killed by his closest ally, Compaoré; Lumumba handed to his executioners by Congolese rivals; Olympio gunned down by his own soldiers; Ndadaye murdered in a coup just months into his presidency; Nkrumah overthrown while he was abroad; Malcolm X cut down by men he once called brothers, under the FBI’s watchful eye.
The oppressor rarely acts alone, he recruits from among us. Until we look inward and cast out the collaborators, we won’t be free, on the continent or in the diaspora.
