Like many others, I’ve made an account on @cohost_org, and I’m going to be giving that a try for a while. Here’s my first post there, an introduction of sorts with generally what to expect: https://t.co/dbor3mWPkK
The tl;dr is that I’ll be talking about some science stuff (nucleic acid delivery, nanotechnology, immunotherapy) and a healthy amount of computer stuff (Rust, Nix, R, etc.). If that sounds interesting to you, come check it out!
My account on Twitter has become largely read-only in recent years for a several reasons, but I’m going to take a shot at being more active on cohost for a while (or maybe Mastodon if that falls through).
@iximeow I’m assuming that this is this way because it’s something which the typical Debug/Display semantics don’t quite match, but in this case I’d rather see some methods returning borrowed objects which do implement one of those two, so I guess both confused and disappointed
@__vlqc I use restore because the invocation I want is usually given by `git status` and use `git switch` when I remember it (i.e., when my muscle memory is broken for whatever reason so I actually think about it)
