@Bradley_Cude@JohnDalyBooks Disqualification to hold any future federal office is an explicit penalty allowed in the Constitution after an impeachment trial conviction. Article I, Section 3, Clause 7.
@koufaxthegreat@AngryFleas If that happened (disputed), anyone being "let in" would already have bypassed barricades and signs closing the grounds near the capital as a restricted area.
@Ike_Saul@JBURKEIII And your outrage is selective and ridiculous, but more importantly, pointless. You can't prevent a legally eligible candidate from running because of their name. Voters need to not be idiots.
@jiglag1988@Jctyankee@AbakpaJob Employer health insurance has been going up at a steady rate for decades. ACA (the box in the chart) did essentially nothing, although it did slow down cost increases a little (not enough to really see)
@Mrcjok1@DonVitoCostcone@jiglag1988@AbakpaJob 1. Healthcare costs went up slightly faster before Obamacare than after
2. COBRA was never really affordable. The whole premise of employer health insurance is that the employer pays most of the cost (with a big tax break). Once you have to pay it all yourself, the cost is high.
@AnalyticaCamil1 With a couple of notable exceptions
"In a famous 1992 survey of the top 75 universities in the United States, MIT and Caltech were noted as the only major elite private universities that completely refused to practice legacy preferences"
