Behind the scenes in Southwest Columbus: Some customers may have noticed a brief flicker this evening. Crews found a Mylar balloon tangled in electrical equipment. Mylar balloons can conduct electricity & create hazards around power lines. Please secure them when used outdoors.
Crews restored power to all customers affected by the Columbus outage at 11:30 a.m. Crews have also restored power to all but four of the customers affected by the Thornville outage as of 11:50 a.m. They continue to work as quickly as they safely can to get the lights back on.
