Adam Carolla says it took 10 DAYS before he heard about the concealed carry dad who ran into his daughters’ elementary school and took down the shooter.
He thought about it, and he knows exactly why it didn’t get more airtime.
“IT F*CKS UP EVERY THEME THEY HAVE ABOUT GUN OWNERSHIP.”
CAROLLA: “That was the first time I’ve ever seen a picture of this guy [Kaylub Giamanco], heard him talk.”
“He says, ‘I didn’t save enough kids, and I’m sorry to the parents of the kids who I couldn’t save.’ And now he can’t sleep at night because he can still hear the screams of the children begging for their lives.”
This man should be a household name. A national hero.
But as Carolla explains, his story wrecks the picture of gun owners the media wants in your head.
“The theme of the dad who wanted to protect his kids ... and put an end to this school shooter is NOT a theme they like.”
“MSNBC, CNN, LA Times, THEY HATE THIS STORY.”
Daniel Penny, meanwhile?
CAROLLA: “That guy is everywhere because they love the theme of a blonde-haired guy choking out a black guy.”
When a story doesn’t fit the narrative, you never hear about it. When it does, it’s all you hear about.
Nevada claimed all voters on the DHS list were U.S. citizens. Wrong. It did not check and instead relied on voter attestations. Now, the Nevada U.S. Attorney’s office has started charging the individuals on the list.
States must comply with federal law. Allowing noncitizens to vote in federal elections is illegal and unconstitutional.
IT HAPPENED AGAIN!
@HSI_HQ arrested 13 noncitizens accused of illegally voting in American elections, including individuals with criminal histories involving violent offenses, drugs, and fraud.
The Trump administration will NOT allow illegal aliens to steal American citizens’ votes.

The district court denied our emergency request to sequester ballots from 20,000 suspected noncitizens. Every day, more ballots are processed by election officials. This ongoing emergency disenfranchises American citizens through dilution. The Solicitor General authorized an immediate appeal. We filed our Notice of Appeal and will immediately seek an emergency order from the Ninth Circuit.
That's not true. LA County sampled 200 names from our list and claimed 38% were U.S.-born based on their registration forms. We reviewed their work and confirmed with USCIS that all 200 were foreign-born nationals, so the claim dropped from 38% to 0%. Read the declarations in evidence explaining this. Everything is available online.
In an exclusive report, the New York Times says Democrats are behind a secret effort to stack Alaska’s ballot in the state's Senate race. Kellen Browning, political reporter for The Times, talks with Anderson about his reporting.
Every single Democrat in Congress voted against President Trump’s historic tax cuts, including No Tax on Tips.
They voted against Voter I.D. They voted against Proof of Citizenship. They voted AGAINST securing our borders.
They vote against the American people.
It's simple. California does not verify citizenship status. We did the work for them. We obtained the registered voter list and told them who we believe are noncitizens on their rolls. Knowingly processing noncitizen ballots is a federal crime under 18 U.S.C. §§ 611 and 2. We will hold election officials accountable. No one is above the law.
Ayaan Hirsi Ali on growing up in the Africa, where she witnessed a man being lynched in the street, and what happens when Europe takes in third world migrants.
“When I first came to Europe, I was stunned by many things. But one of the things that I found most stunning and astonishing was just how peaceful it was.”
“In these other countries in Africa, violence was so normal.”

What’s happening in France is a warning for America. We have to take it seriously‼️

"They took land off people and they were excessive."
Obama's comments in Belfast make it seem like Israel was a random place Jews had no connection to, not a homeland we had been continuously connected to for millenia.
He ignores the fact that before Israel, Britain controlled the territory. When Israel was established, 7 Arab countries immediately attacked. That's the context in which displacement occurred.
He also ignores the displacement that my Iraqi and Tunisian Jewish family experienced. My grandmother survived the Farhud, a massacre of Bagdhad's Jews.
My family never lived in Europe. They were among the 850,000 Jews from the Middle East and North Africa who lost their homes. Israel was their only refuge.
I will never be silent while the expulsion of Mizrahi Jews, who are the majority of Israeli Jews today, are erased from history to fit a narrative.
Time is up for California
We gave California 48 hours to review and flag more than 20,000 noncitizen voters recently mailed live ballots.
California refused.
This morning we filed a federal court action seeking an emergency order requiring California to sequester ballots returned by suspected noncitizens.
This is not political or controversial. 18 U.S.C. § 611 makes it a federal offense for noncitizens to vote in a federal election. We will not allow California to dilute the votes of American citizens.
A retired NASA engineer who had worked on the Space Shuttle program for 25 years was hired by SpaceX at age 62. He described the first week as the most disorienting experience of his professional life.
At NASA, a design change required 3 meetings, 2 committees, a review board, and 6 to 18 months of documentation. At SpaceX, his new supervisor said "if it works, build it. If it doesn't, change it by Friday."
He sat at his desk after the first day and called his wife. He told her he felt like a man who had been swimming with ankle weights for 25 years and someone just cut them off. He could move. He could decide. He could build something in the morning and test it in the afternoon. The constraint that he had accepted as the nature of aerospace engineering turned out to be the nature of bureaucracy.
Within 6 months he had contributed to more design iterations than he had completed in his last 5 years at NASA. Not because he was working harder. Because the time between having an idea and testing the idea collapsed from months to hours. The same brain. The same knowledge. A different operating system.
He described a specific moment where he proposed a modification to a Raptor engine component. At NASA, the proposal would have entered a queue. At SpaceX, the modification was machined by the end of the day and tested by the following morning. He watched his idea become a physical object in 18 hours. At NASA, 18 hours would not have been enough to schedule the first meeting to discuss whether to schedule a meeting.
He told an interviewer: "I didn't get smarter when I went to SpaceX. I got faster. The intelligence was always there. The system was in the way."
The difference between SpaceX and NASA is not talent. NASA has extraordinary talent. The difference is the time between a thought and a test. SpaceX compresses it. NASA elongates it. The same engineer produces 10x more at SpaceX than at NASA because the bottleneck was never the engineer. It was the meetings about the meetings about the work.
🚨Alarming!! @United Airlines is still employing (and paying) a pilot who publicly praised the October 7, 2023 Hamas massacre as “resistance by a brave people.”
His name is Captain Ibrahim R. Mossallam. On the day of the attacks, he posted on Facebook that the slaughter was “resistance by a brave people who have endured decades of occupation, oppression, humiliation, apartheid, and straight up murder.”
He called it “not an unprovoked attack,” blamed the “Zionist regime,” and told critics to work on their “media literacy.”
Mossallam is deeply embedded in multiple Muslim organizations:
• Board VP of CAIR-New York (described as an active pilot shaping Muslim youth)
• Board member of American Muslims for Palestine (AMP-NY)
• Council member of the Muslim American Society (MAS-NY)
• Representative of the Islamic Leadership Council of New York
• Graduate studies in Islamic religious leadership at Boston Islamic Seminary
