Street fights usually involve multiple people. You take someone down, you cant guarantee someone else isnt going to jump in or stomp you while youre down. Happens all the time.

In that sense, boxing can be superior.

@Mark7mile @poppyfrmnyc @KickStreamingHQ IF It's just a 1 on 1 fight though, nobody jumping in or whatever, then MMA is superior in all cases. A boxer has about 2 seconds to land a knockout blow, otherwise he's controlled, can't do a thing, and basically has the fighting capacity of a little girl.
