Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez announced that Spain will dispatch a naval vessel to support the Global Sumud Flotilla in route to Gaza.

In a related move, Italian MPs have compelled their government to deploy a naval ship to protect Italian citizens participating in the flotilla, amid escalating threats from the Israeli occupation
