Fable 5 = single frontier model ceiling. Aeterna Conductor v4 = local, auditable, commercially usable, continuously trainable Agent planner. It beats the fixed frontier-worker quality/cost Pareto frontier on complex tasks.

Not a chat model. It's the local Agent brain. User task → executable JSON plan: decompose, pick workers, wire dependencies, control cost, produce cost/quality/runtime receipt.

Core problems solved: no burning remote API for every plan; no unreliable natural-language execution; no one-size-fits-all model routing; failed samples become training data, not logs; data pipeline is commercially licensable, distributable, attributable.

Launch demo: complex reasoning, long-context research decomposition, engineering Agent workflows. Only question that matters: same tasks → strongest worker vs. Conductor first. Who wins on quality, cost, and post-failure learning?

Planner marginal cost: $0. Server executes JSON plan. Every route + failure = receipt. API-generated trajectories stripped. Downstream: recovery, verifier, tool trace, GRPO training.

Done: A100 80GB, 441/441 steps, 2h46m, train_loss 0.03082, eval_loss 0.01456, JSON plan smoke 16/16.
