You can detonate an elemental field, absorb it into a shield, or use element-based movement abilities like Air Dash or Earth Leap.

[Aetherfall @Aetherfallgame]

Movement abilities do more than just get you from one point to another; they can interact with elemental fields to generate unique combat combos and unexpected effects. The possibilities multiply rapidly as different elements and abilities interact with one another.

@Giulio6686 Currently working on a fine tuning the tutorial level for my survival extraction RPG. For a tutorial I’m trying to decide between completely on the rails vs a few branching paths. I want to introduce the main game mechanics without overwhelming the player. https://t.co/2mowsPZGph

When you use the wrong element to interact with a aether crystal it can react badly and create enemies.

@ValBezuglenko Still a WIP. I’m building bespoke animations for the aetherfield destabilization. The hardest part isn’t the initial opening it’s making the wall feel like it’s gradually breaking down over the next 60 seconds, until the player can finally walk through.

Still an early work in progress but I’m very happy with how the extraction mechanic is being developed. Here you can see it’s becoming an actual mechanic!

If this looks cool please go ahead and wishlist on steam. https://t.co/FyKHiIBUFg
