Processing some types of information might be faster or more thorough, while processing others might be slower. And what's faster or slower will differ from person to person

Part of being Autistic and ADHD, for me, is associating many people with strong emotions. For example, if someone does something that hurts me, I’ll associate them with hurt for years to come. No matter what they do, I’ll feel hurt when I hear their name or are in their presence.

Autistic people are often hyperaware of other people, their perceptions and our environments. This can leave us feeling exposed when in public spaces, which can be a vulnerable, draining and terrifying feeling, especially when it goes against our wishes and is beyond our control.

Autistics and ADHDers may often feel like they’re “too much” and “not enough” - sometimes both at the same time.

This may be because many of us have been told so many times that we tire, drain, overwhelm or expect too much from others yet don’t give or achieve enough in return.

Aetris has a few classes but has only rapidly changed once: DRK -> DRG when he was faced with a MNK/WAR/DRK hybrid that was faster and stronger than him. But the moment he dropped his tanky abilities, they landed a blow that carved open his back so...

FINALLY I can ramble about him. Aetris' Fray is called Reszira (Res) and they almost seem like two souls in one body. Res is the embodiment of Aetris' frustrations, suffering, and rage. But also his determination to protect those he loves. I could ramble about their dynamic-

#wolqotd of sorts but if drk is your character's canon job or even just one of them, how does their fray/esteem act?

do they behave as they do in canon or do they have certain traits/abilities that are unique to your character?

And I will! They started out hating each other but after coming to a reluctant compromise when Aetris defeated Res in their struggle for control, the two slowly bonded over their mutual grumpy lizard energy. Now they're far more like brothers, not that they'll admit it.

But Zehlvi? Born in Gridania and almost avoids it like the plague. He's never had a good relationship with his family or the community he grew up in, and he has no wish to change that. He certainly doesn't miss it

Aetris was born off the coast of Limsa and really missed his family that he'd left originally thinking they'd hate him for adventuring. He's since learnt they don't and is slowly fixing his relationship with them, mostly introducing them to his two partners that his sisters adore
