When an F-15E was shot down over hostile territory, a highly complex combat search and rescue mission swung into motion. To bring the crew home safely, commanders needed eyes in the sky that could stay on station, track threats, and deliver precise lethality at a moment's notice. They turned to the MQ-9 Reaper.
As a true workhorse of modern operations, the Reaper provides unmatched persistence and situational awareness without placing additional pilots in jeopardy. While the mission environment evolves, the need for persistent overwatch remains constant, and the next-generation MQ-9B from @GenAtomics_ASI is built to deliver even greater range and payload for the future fight.
How do you see the role of unmanned persistence evolving in future force design?
