Great news for cats! Congrats to Austin Pets Alive for their part in making this happen!

[Austin Pets Alive! @austinpetsalive]

The @austintexasgov just voted (unanimously) to ban the practice of cat declawing! Declawing is a painful and unnecessary surgical procedure in which the cat's toes are amputated at the last joint, often causing life-long health and behavioral issues.

August 12 is World Elephant Day. We care a lot about elephants and remind you to never ride them, visit circuses with them or contribute to their exploitation.
