🧵THE FEHLINGER DOCTRINE FOR AFRICA
Africa is entering its final stage of decolonization.
The era of oversized, failed post-imperial states is ending.
A new age of smaller, democratic, Western-aligned states is coming.
This is the Fehlinger Doctrine for Africa.
1❗ The 1884 Berlin borders were drawn without Africans.
They do not reflect reality.
Where borders destroy peace & dignity, peaceful reconfiguration must be allowed.
2✅ New, democratic states must be recognized.
Somaliland is the leading case:
– 30+ yrs stability
– Democracy
– Rule of law
It deserves EU FTA, Euro-peg, Global Gateway, OSCE & security partnership.
3 ❌ Big colonial states ≠ stability.
They create violence, corruption, kleptocracy.
✅ Smaller democratic states work better.
4 The next wave of new African states is coming.
Likely candidates:
Ex-Sudan → Darfur, Nubia, East Sudan
Ex-Mali → Azawad & South Mali
Ex-Nigeria → Biafra, Oduduwa, Hausa North, Middle Belt
Ex-Ethiopia → Tigray, Oromia, Amhara, Afar, Somali
5 These are not fantasies.
These are realities moving toward the surface — just as:
– Ex-Yugoslavia
– Ex-Soviet Union
– Ex-Sudan (South Sudan)
6 Why smaller states?
✅ Better governance
✅ Closer to citizens
✅ Less corruption
✅ More investment
✅ More stability
✅ Easier global integration
Look at Estonia, Slovenia, Kosovo.
7 Economic model:
✅ Euro-pegged currency
✅ 10–15% flat tax
✅ FDI incentives
✅ Global Gateway infrastructure
✅ Free-trade with the Free World
Africa can leap ahead by copying Central Europe’s success.
8 Security model:
➡️ NATO style
Collective defense, Western alignment
→ No space for Russia, China, Iran, Wagner, jihadists
9 The African Union must modernize or step aside.
It cannot endlessly defend colonial borders over human rights & democratic legitimacy.
The Fehlinger Roadmap
1. Recognize functioning new states
2. Euro-peg
3. Flat tax + free trade
4. Western security compacts
5. OECD track
6. Global integration
This is the final post-imperial phase.
A peaceful shift:
From artificial empire → to democratic nation-states → to global economic integration.
Somaliland is next.
Others will follow:
→ Ex-Sudan
→ Ex-Mali
→ Ex-Nigeria
→ Ex-Ethiopia
This is not chaos —
It is the natural end of unfinished colonial history.
A FREE Africa —
integrated with NATO, EU, OECD & the Free World —
