🚨 Camp Network Airdrop Drama

Airdrops are supposed to reward early adopters for free. But Camp Network tried something different and it backfired hard.

▪️ Instead of free distribution, users had to pay 0.0025 ETH (~$10) to claim their $CAMP tokens. The official excuse? To reduce bots & “airdrop farming.”

▪️ The community didn’t buy it. Paying to receive an airdrop was seen as a contradiction of what airdrops represent. Many called it nothing more than a disguised “registration fee.”

▪️ On top of that, some regions were quietly blocked, and even eligible users ran into error messages when claiming. This lack of transparency only added fuel to the fire.

▪️ Sentiment across X turned negative, with some comparing Camp Network to scammy projects that exploited “airdrop fees” in the past. Instead of hype and loyalty, $CAMP got tied to distrust.

▪️ Eventually, under pressure, the team removed the fee and promised full refunds. But credibility, once shaken, is far harder to recover than tokens.

The bigger picture:
Airdrops aren’t just giveaways they’re trust-building mechanisms. Done right, they turn users into loyal holders. Done wrong, they can stain a project before it even launches.

Yes, bots are a real issue in crypto. But charging your own supporters isn’t the solution. Smarter on-chain filters, stricter eligibility rules, and clearer communication are far more effective.

最近 @miranetwork 的产品和生态正在同步推进，又要开始卷了。

他们的 Klok 聊天应用蛮有意思的，主打 Chat-to-Earn，用 GPT-4o mini、Llama、DeepSeek 等多模型，用户一边聊天还能边赚点 Mira Points，同时还接��了去中心化验证，尽量减少 AI 出错。再加上 Mira 推出的新一代 API（Generate、Verify、Verified Generate），通过多模型一致性验证，把出错率压到最低，延迟和效率也都有了进一步优化。

除了应用端，Mira 还在生态和机制上推出了多重利好：内容创作者任务、staking、社区治理预演，再叠加双代币模型和锁仓激励，很明显是在为代币TGE做准备。团队的逻辑不是只做单一模型性能，而是叠加信任层，保证每次 AI 输出都能验证、能追溯、出问题能定负责。

三方面来实现：多模型交叉验证，让不同模型像审核团一样投票；��济约束机制，让验证节点用押注承担责任；还有隐私安全设计，数据用完即销毁。核心产品 Mira Verify 已经上线，把 AI 输出拆成一句句声明，再交给节点验证可信度，最后回馈给用户。尤其是在金融、医疗、法律这些不能出错的场景，这种机制非常有价值。

数据表现也很不错：目前用户数超过 250 万，日均处理 200 亿 tokens，准确率提升到接近 96%。生态方面，已经有 25+ 项目接入，比如 @KaitoAI 、Wikisentry、SendAI、Plume、Monad 等。

另外，和 Lagrange (DeepProve) 的合作也值得关注。Mira 保证结果可信，Lagrange 用零知识证明保证过程可信，一个管裁判，一个做公证，结果和过程双保险，相当于给 AI 世界加上了 HTTPS 级别的安全保障。

我个人觉得 Mira 现在不仅仅是在推应用，而是在给 AI+Web3 搭建底层的可信基建。随着 TGE 临近，生态合作扩展，项目有可能在 AI 去中心化验证这块成为标杆，值得大家持续跟进。
