@HowieRatner_@CracraftFan Name one player US soccer has developed.
Any improvements we make is because we snatched players from abroad (balogun, for instance). My issue is what we do at the youth level.
@koosamagoopaloo@CracraftFan@corneire They havent done shit, unless you want to count beating mexico's worst ever team as an achievement. Also, I'm never gonna root for a team that doesnt have enough of a backbone to drop dest & weah after their selfish red cards
@AZSportsShow@JohnHuber72 On the other hand, an average team can go all in on SLG & bullpen and get away with being mediocre at everything else; if they get hot at the right time, they can even win a ring (like the 2021 braves). Of course, this approach is also liable to blow up in your face
@andre_sixone@Ekas_04@TheOnlySKB Tf is your problem dude? I like arteta and im an arsenal fan, but I can have an unbiased opinion about football. Arteta deserved manager of the season in 22/23 and 23/24 when he overperformed expectations. This year, the best squad won the league, so iraola deserves it more
@andre_sixone@Ekas_04@TheOnlySKB Nah, dude's right, arteta was an excellent manager in the cups and especially in the UCL but i dont think he did a very good job in many of our league fixtures, especially the 0-0 against forest, the 2-1 to villa, and both matches against wolves.
@hitaboutit Spurs gave us 6 points and took 5 off city, thats an 11 point swing in a title race we won by 7 points. They deserve to be part of our celebrations
