Yesterday, we visited a small town in the Central Region to campaign, and I came across a little store with Hon. Ken’s picture boldly displayed in front. Out of curiosity, I stopped by and met an elderly woman inside, and what followed was an incredible conversation.
She told me that her story with Hon. Ken began back in 2005, when 31 petty traders (all women) approached him for help. Hon. Ken supported each of them with ₵5 million, which was before the currency redenomination. She used that money to start her small store and, out of gratitude, wrote Hon. Ken’s name on the shop front.
When Hon. Ken visited the town again in 2008 and saw the shop, he was deeply touched and gave her ₵5,000 more to expand her business. Today, that same woman proudly told me that Hon. Ken is sponsoring two of her sons, one at the University of Ghana and the other at KNUST.
This is the kind of real-life impact that speaks louder than words, a story of compassion, empowerment, and leadership worth emulating.
Delap Was The One That Dealt With Arsenal
Once upon a time Arsenal were on the receiving end of set piece expertise from bogey teams like Stoke City and Bolton.
Wenger's teams had torrid time defending long throws from RORY DELAP especially at the Britannia on a cold rainy Tuesday nights.Tony Pulis and his long ball Stoke team always made a mockery of Wenger's pretty football with dangerous missiles from RORY DELAP.
The pundits mocked us because Wenger truly had no Plan B apart from his famous crisp passing game.Arsenal were called 'weak'....lacking COJONES...having soft centre.
Fast forward to Mikel Arteta's regime, the stones thrown at Arsenal then have been used to build a fantastic PLAN B (set pieces)which the pundits are now crying about.
Only a fool thinks Arsenal don't play good football again. They apply their set piece tactics when opponents deny them spaces to exploit.
