Before 2012, PhDs could easily get the job of an assistant professor on TTS or BPS. Then universities started taking PhDs on contract and the trend of TTS and BPS has come to an end. For the past two years, universities have been offering visiting to PhDs.

Jobless PhDs are fed up with paying the processing fees of universities. The application processing fee for a vacant position advertised by the Universities or Higher Education Commission (HEC) should be the minimum that jobless PhDs can afford.
