Avoid urinating in stagnant water, under fruit-bearing trees, in the shade where people rest, on pathways, or in places where people gather, as these actions are prohibited in Islam.
Do not be hasty when urinating.
Avoid facing or turning your back toward the Qiblah while urinating out of respect for the direction of prayer.
It is disliked to speak unnecessarily or mention Allah's name while in the toilet.
Do not carry anything bearing Allah's name or Qur'ฤnic verses into the toilet, unless there is fear of it being lost or stolen.
It is Sunnah to urinate while sitting or squatting, as this prevents splashing and maintains cleanliness.
Men should gently shake or squeeze the private part (istinja with the left hand or tissue) after urination to ensure no drops remain, avoiding urine impurity on clothes.
Use only the left hand to hold or direct the private parts during urination and for cleaning afterward.
After urinating, wash the private organ with water and wash your two hands.
If urine splashes on the body or clothes, wash the affected area immediately to maintain purity for prayer.
