I know a bunch of people who died because of cancer.
I also know a bunch of people who survived cancer.
Here's what I know from these people:

1. Everyone who got diagnosed late ended up dying.
2. Most of those who got diagnosed early and accepted orthodox course of treatment are still alive.
3. All who got diagnosed early but rejected orthodox medicine eventually died.
4. If you need to remove certain organs to eliminate cancer, do it. I know someone who got diagnosed in her 30s who has endured chemo, had a double mastectomy and radiotherapy that is now in her early 80s. She was 38 but is now 81.
5. This may sound controversial, but forget alternative medicine when it comes to cancer. I have not seen one person that had a cancer diagnosis that survived it on alternative medicine.
6. You can still do everything they asked you to do and still die. Only God fully understands everything.
7. I believe that God answers prayers but speaking honestly and factually, the success rate of prayers against cancer is really low. Get treatment. I believe that as there are conditions that only go by prayer and fasting, God also made it that there are conditions that only go by medical science.

8. You don't have to believe anything I have said. You can just move on without being an asshole.

But the biggest lesson from this product wasn't the money.

It's how much you can learn by observing human behaviour instead of listening to what people say.

This product was built around a fear parents have about their children.

I spent a lot of time researching that fear, understanding how parents think about it and figuring out how to package the solution.

When I first launched the ad, it did nothing. Zero sales. Crazy CPM.

I didn't change the product.

I didn't throw away the whole idea.

I simply went back to the creative, cut out some parts of the opening, made the ad shorter and relaunched it.

It picked up.

Three days later, it had done 100 sales at ₦923 per purchase.

That's a record for me. I've never had a cost per purchase like this before.

And honestly, this is why I keep saying watch what people do, not just what they say.

If I had built this product based purely on what people told me they wanted, I could have easily built the wrong thing.

Human behaviour will tell you things people will never articulate to you.

I'm going to keep milking this creative/product, spin different versions of it, and add upsells to the funnel.

When you find something that works, don't get bored. Milk it.

Another format I found out they do at night is to hit your car so that you’d come out of your car to make claims or something and they’d ambush you.
If anyone bashes your car at night, just speed off, the money to fix it is nothing compared to the harm they might do to you.
Always use central lock as well, I’ve had someone try to open the car door at a traffic light, the only saving grace was that the doors were all locked else I don’t know what would have happened.
