Just to be clear, my analysis and evaluation of players has absolutely nothing to do with the Ballon d'Or or any other individual award. I don't evaluate players any differently whether they win them or not.
Having said that, today, I've decided to do a better job than what the
is not the one you build a midfield around or the one who walks into any top team and instantly makes them better.
He's a cog in the machine. An important cog nonetheless.
If Fabian Ruiz is world-class, then Anguissa should be considered world-class too.
Quick question for all of you calling him WC: if you are a top club and you need one transformative midfielder to add to your midfield to make it better - that midfielder would be coming in to be
Fabian is comfortable one of the best midfielders in the world. It’s madness to even suggest he’s not worldclass. The only reason he’s so underrated is because he’s good at everything
the best midfielder in your team and take your midfield to a higher level - would Fabian Ruiz be that guy?. Do you think he can handle such responsibilities?
Because for me, the answer is no. He is a very good player in a perfect system, surrounded by elite talent, but he

Center-Backs I'm enjoying this period:
—Dayot Upamecano;
—Dean Huijsen;
—Jérémy Jacquet;
—Joane Gadou (something is in the making);
—Leny Yoro (despite Manchester United struggles);
Everytime I see Cavani’s United tapes it pains me that this guy spent his prime years playing LF at PSG instead of being a showtime no9 for a PL winning side. Should’ve been the Drogba replacement

PSG are gunning for that UCL 3-peat, and they want to do it in grand style by thrashing every team that comes their way.
No one is safe. Not the big clubs, not the underdogs. With the way they are pressing, dominating possession, and scoring for fun, they are not just trying
PSG have been absolutely ruthless this season, but I genuinely believe Real Madrid are the one team capable of stopping them. We have the individual quality to compete with them, but beating a team like PSG requires more than just having good players. It requires a proper tactical plan.
If I were Mourinho, I’d avoid allowing PSG to turn the game into an open contest. Their aggressive pressing and high defensive line leave spaces behind them, and Madrid have the players to exploit those spaces. I’d keep the midfield compact with Tchouaméni, Valverde and Bellingham, use their ability to win second balls and break PSG’s pressing lines quickly. I’d also start Yan Diomande alongside Mbappé because of his confidence, directness and willingness to take defenders on. Let him and Mbappé stretch that defence, then bring Vinícius on later when the opposition is beginning to tire. Imagine having to deal with all three across 90 minutes.
This is why I would trust Mourinho’s tactical approach in this particular matchup. Luis Enrique has built an excellent team, but Mourinho understands how to disrupt a team’s rhythm, exploit its weaknesses and use his substitutes to change the direction of a game. Madrid don’t need to dominate possession against PSG; they need to be disciplined, deny them space between the lines and punish them whenever they leave gaps. I’m confident Madrid have enough quality to knock them out, but the tactical preparation will make all the difference.
This is what I hate. In the spirit of creating awareness for a player who has been polarizing over the years and has started playing at an elite level, there's this need to overcompensate, but you end up pushing people away with silly comments like this.
You lost me at "a couple of years". It just started last season. You don't have to create awareness and talk about how good he's been recently by lying.
I actually agree with him, & I even pointed it out in my tweet yesterday. If he was going to Draymond just to do the shirt-pulling thing, he shouldn't have bothered running over to that scene. When he made that run, I literally expected a punch or a tackle to the ground or somtin
Matt Barnes says Draymond Green exposed Dillon Brooks 'tough guy' persona as fake. Barnes pointed out that Brooks cannot pick and choose when to play that role. He advised Brooks to just stick to being an troll and leave the fake tough guy act alone."
