What we fail to see is that the @WNBA is marketing itself and the product they are offering as entertainment. Plain and simple. They are following the same playbook as the WWE did back in the early '50's. Attractive personalities such as Cunningham and Caitlyn on one end, and characters like Angel Reese and A'ja WIlson on the other. Promoting and using promotions and controversial storylines as part of the overall presentation to generate publicity and viewership. It certainly is not a skills game for them. With the exception of a handful of players, the rest of the cast of "players" is marginal at best.
